Pokemon Go has announced a special Community Day event featuring Bulbasaur. The event will take place on July 9th from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time. During this period, Bulbasaur will appear more frequently in the wild, and players will have increased chances to find Shiny versions.
Trainers will also earn three times the normal amount of Stardust for catching Pokemon during the event hour. A special move, Solar Beam, will be available for trainers who evolve their Ivysaur into Venusaur during the event or within two hours afterward.
Niantic has reminded players to follow local health guidelines while playing. The event encourages players to explore their neighborhoods safely while enjoying the increased Pokemon spawns.
