The Pokémon Company has officially announced a new main series game, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, for the Nintendo Switch. The title is scheduled for release in 2025 and will be set in the Kalos region, which was originally featured in Pokémon X and Y.

A key confirmed feature is the return of Mega Evolutions, a popular battle mechanic from previous generations. This game continues the "Legends" series, following the success of last year's Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
